An experiment in linoleum block printing, loosely inspired by the thickly mossed—and spruced and lichened—landscape of Deer Isle, ME. (More accurately an island off an island off Deer Isle.)
I wrote a story for Hakai Magazine about how US and Canadian herring fisheries are (and aren’t) paying overdue attention to warnings from seabirds.
