Two islands in Thailand

View from Koh Wai, a little island in southeastern Thailand. I came here on a brightly painted wooden boat from Koh Chang (whose jagged hills are the ones looming mistily on the horizon).

Found in the jungle south of Pai; stored in a Pringles container until I could paint it. The edges were a little frayed by then.

When you turn it in the sunlight, an iridescent purple spot flashes on and off.
