You're finishing up a watercolor that you're actually sort of happy with. It blows into the ocean. You run in and grab it, and of course it's drenched and diluted and unsalveagable (well, maybe if you let it dry and start over carefully... but that would take a whole lot more patience than you have). Not one to face reality, you recklessly slather on more paint. Unsurprisingly, this looks terrible. You scribble on top of all that with a pen.

I kind of like it.
